Tonight:Cloudy with further outbreaks of mostly light sleet and snow, giving some fresh accumulations over the Pennines. Cold, but the southeasterly wind easing later.
Wednesday:Cold and cloudy with outbreaks of mostly light snow, giving further slight accumulations over the higher parts of Cumbria and the Pennines. Winds becoming light.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:Sleet and snow at first clearing. Dry for a time, but still cold with fog and ice. Rain will spread east later Friday and Saturday, preceeded by snow over hills.
